This policy outlines how risks should be recorded and overseen for inclusion in the Trust-Wide Risk Register.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that appropriate systems and procedures are in place to minimise the risk of Legionella and other Waterborne Pathogens within the trust’s hot and cold water systems.

The Strategy outlines how one person can make a difference when raising concerns about how Mersey Care provides care and delivers its services, encouraging people to speak up, for leaders to listen up and for all parts of the organisation to take up the lessons learned from concerns raised - as part of our Just and Learning Culture

THIS POLICY STATES THE TRUST’S COMMITMENT TO OPENNESS, WHICH INCLUDES ENCOURAGING OUR COLLEAGUES TO RAISE THEIR CONCERNS WITH WHAT THEY SEE HAPPENING AT WORK.

This policy is designed to provide comprehensive guidance and advice to all Mersey Care staff on the management of incidents of people who are displaying behaviours of concern. This policy, its procedures and associated working groups will enable the Trust to fulfil its responsibilities to report under the relevant statutory requirements.

The objective of this policy is to describe the framework for managing Clinical Audit and describes:- • The duties of all parties within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust • The development of the Clinical Audit Plan • The Clinical Audit Process • The process for monitoring compliance with the standards of the policy
