One of our most highly respected clinical psychologists has passed away. The funeral of Dr Frank McGuire has been announced for Monday 26 January in Childwall.

The Mental Health Bill recently received Royal Assent, marking the most significant reform since the last substantive changes were made in 2008. The key changes aim to modernise outdated mental health laws and improve care for patients. The changes will start to take effect on 18 February 2026 this will be a phased approach to implementation.
