The Access Guide project will give information for services to help them travel to an event. It will also provide more detailed information that can support the Estates team and management making decisions.
The main emphasis of the project is focusing on the patient journey at our premises used by service users and carers. But staff can also use the guides.
In addition to the service user areas, we are surveying workforce areas of HPH/HP Education Centre, V7 and Indigo Centre.
Two survey session with one of the surveyors, who will present a recent survey e.g. Indigo Building, to talk through the process of auditing the building. The audit includes taking photographs and measurements, visually assessing signage, floor patterns/colours, and colour contrast, followed by a Q&A session.
This will give staff, carers and volunteers the opportunity to see first-hand what the access guides will be providing.
