We’re supporting access to Level 3 senior healthcare worker and lead adult care apprenticeships. These include a Level 3 Diploma and if you don’t have them, Level 2 English and Maths. Closing date for applications is 9 July with these free courses starting in September 2023. Attendance varies depending on the programme but on average, involves one day a week at college for between 15 and 18 months.

You’ll gain further qualifications and knowledge that will advance your healthcare skills and enable you to access future development opportunities such as nursing associate or allied health professional apprenticeships.

Depending on your current role you’ll study one of the following specialist routes: mental health support, adult nursing support, allied health professional support, children and young people’s support or adult social care.

You’ll need support and approval from your line manager. Apprenticeships require study time (in paid time), and a workplace mentor. This means some managers may not be able to support applications for this year but there will be future opportunities.
