Launching in April, YourBrief is a new monthly strategic communication containing high-level updates cascaded from the executives through managers and leaders to their teams.
It aims to ensure all staff receive consistent updates and messages each month through established face-to-face or virtual team meetings.
The first YourBrief will take place on 27 April 2022 at 9am.
Although several members of the team may be invited, only one member of the team needs to attend the session.
Your role
The initial presentation of YourBrief takes place at a virtual monthly half-hour session led by Chief Executive, Prof Joe Rafferty CBE or a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
All managers and leaders are invited to the session, which will be run on Teams during the third week of each month (day and time will change to remain inclusive).
Following the initial YourBrief session, the PowerPoint presentation will be emailed to you for onward cascade to your teams. Wherever possible, this should be during existing face-to-face or virtual meetings to allow for questions and discussion – ideally, within two weeks of receiving the email.
You are encouraged to add value by presenting in the context of your own service or function to make the content meaningful to your team. There is space at the end of the presentation for you to add any relevant local information.
You will be asked to confirm YourBrief has been delivered by completing a simple online form with further details available on YourSpace.
