A message from Trish Bennett, Executive Director of Nursing and Operations
Since Monday, Government restrictions regarding COVID-19 have all but gone and the number of COVID-19 cases are flatlining locally. We’re now in a situation where we’re living with covid – this is the new normal. A decision has been reached by the Trust to no longer treat the pandemic as a Gold rated incident and there are no services in business continuity due to the pandemic. The Strategic Co-ordination Group and divisional tactical groups have been stood down.
As a result of this, the COVID-19 briefing will no longer be produced. All covid related information and guidance will be issued via Trust wide memos if it’s urgent, and if less so, it will appear in the weekly staff newsletter and on the staff Facebook account. We will also continue to review and update, when needed, the wealth of information held on YourSpace which should be your first point of reference. As always, your line manager and our staff helplines are there if you need them. The Trust will monitor the situation with a view to reinstating, if required.
