NHS England and the UK Health Security Agency have issued revised national guidance as part of next steps and living with COVID.
The Trust has already removed universal mask usage in non-clinical areas, unless staff are unable to maintain 2 metres safe distancing.
From Wednesday, 8 June 2022, there will no longer be limitations on the number of people who are allowed in a room, therefore, the requirement to maintain safe distancing will be removed.
Staff are reminded to continue to undertake twice weekly lateral flow device (LFD) tests. If attending training or events, staff are asked to undertake an LFD test on the morning of the event, and obviously not attend if they test positive or are feeling unwell.
Masks will continue to be provided for any staff who wish to continue to wear them.
Information with regard to lifting of further restrictions, including those in clinical settings will follow shortly.
