The recent conclusion of a high profile trial involving a local NHS Trust has deeply saddened and shocked us all and our thoughts go out to the grief-stricken families and anyone affected by these appalling crimes.

The delivery of professional, high quality, compassionate care is something that we aim to provide at all times. We all have a role to play in trying to ensure that this happens on every occasion, for all users of our services.

Please raise any concerns or ideas for improvements with your line manager. If you feel unable to do this, or if you have tried this before and things have not changed, our Freedom to Speak Up Guardians are here to help. They will discuss your concerns and help you decide the way forward. You can remain anonymous, although you wouldn’t receive any feedback and your confidentiality will be respected at all times.

We are listening and want everyone to feel confident and safe to speak up.
