October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this Friday, 21 October, is Wear it Pink Day. We are asking everyone, staff and service users, to wear an item of pink clothing.
We will also be holding the following events in Our Shared College (in the Whalley site):
At 12pm there will be a staff drop in to pick up information, and goodies, about the importance of checking our breasts/chests (it can affect men too) so please come along and pick up some goodies.
1pm to 1.30pm – Male service user session
2pm to 3pm – Female service user session
Service users can come along to pick up some goodies and find out about checking their chests/breasts and what to look out for. Please encourage male service users to attend.
