For the attention of all rostering managers/deputies within the implementation of Ward Guardian (attached teams)

To get the full benefits from Ward Guardian, Eroster managers must be competent in the use of Health Roster. Training has been organised for Friday, 3 February 2023 all day at South Sefton Neighbourhood Centre, Waterloo L22 3XR. You can book the training on Eventbrite. It lasts one whole day and is facilitated by the Eroster team.

Training is aimed at managers who have responsibility for planning and signing off rosters, including deputies. We strongly encourage you to book onto this session to ensure you are confident and proficient in the use of Health Roster.

As a result of an overview of Mersey Care’s current rostering practices, Ward Guardian has been suggested and implemented as part of our Eroster system. Ward Guardian drives rostering improvements by issuing timely, tailored guidance to Eroster managers, it’s also a huge reporting time saver and should lead to:

  1. Reduced bank/agency staffing costs
  2. Reduced staffing shortages leading to improved patient outcomes
  3. Reduction of overtime usage and associated costs
  4. Uplift in staff wellbeing and retention through increased roster stability and reduced shortages.
