Tillery Valley, the supplier of our cook freeze meals, are currently in financial difficulty which has resulted in the Trust receiving reduced deliveries of our patient meals.
Numerous sites across the Trust are affected, these include Broadoak, Windsor House, Hope Centre, Clock View, Rathbone, Leigh Moss, Heys Court and Hartley Hospital.
We have been advised to continue ordering from Tillery Valley as usual for the time being, however, we may not receive all of the requested items. We have additional food suppliers that we can utilise via the NHS Supply Chain framework.
Patient food will still be provided but some changes may be made to the menu. We will ensure we have a supply of meals to accommodate special diets.
