Mersey Care has zero acceptance of racism, discrimination, and unacceptable behaviours from and toward our workforce, our patients, service users, carers and families. After re-launching our anti-racism perfect care goal in June 2022, we have continued to work across the organisation to ensure that the anti-racism lens is at the forefront of our strategic plans, our programmes of work, and our staff experience.
This year we will be celebrating Race Equality Week (6-12 February) by hosting a series of online events, which will be recorded and open to all colleagues. During the events, we will focus on knowledge building, showcasing good practice, sharing updates, reflections and future plans on our journey towards becoming an actively anti-racist organisation.
We want to also show our commitment by being more connected with our staff, and we would like to get in touch with colleagues in relation to their views and understanding of the anti-racism perfect care goal.
Should you wish not to receive emails and updates from us, please email us at: PCG Anti-Racism PCG
We hope that you continue to engage with us and invite you to share your feedback and viewpoints to help us to achieve our goal of being an anti-racist organisation.
