In August, we successfully launched our Green Champions network, a group of dedicated staff who are passionate about sustainability and environmental issues. The network aims to promote awareness and action on sustainability across our organisation, and to support the delivery of our Green Plan policies and goals. At the first meeting we discussed our vision, objectives and plans for the future. We also shared our ideas and experiences on how to reduce our environmental impacts and engage others in sustainability. It was a great opportunity to meet other like-minded colleagues and to learn from each other. We are looking forward to working together as a network and making a positive difference for Mersey Care and the planet!
