Earlier this week, Rosie Cooper (Chair), Trish Bennett (CEO) and Jenny Hurst (Chief Nurse) welcomed Rebecca Gray the newly appointed Director of the Mental Health Network at NHS Confederation, and Marsha McAdam (Expert by Experience and Vice Chair) to Mersey Care.
Our guests visited The Life Rooms to hear about our work within local communities and how the social model of health is used to help people take steps towards healthier lives.
Rebecca and Marsha also visited Clock View Hospital and met with Donna Robinson (Director of Operations), and some of our clinical teams to hear about the improvements being made in mental health services, the Right Care, Right Patient agreement and the use of AI and technologies within the Crisis Lines to continuously improve our ability to care for people in crisis.
Rebecca and Marsha were very complimentary about our services and plan to come back in the future!
