Improved resources for our residents this winter

We have enhanced and improved our ‘Help Us Help You’ webpage to give Cheshire and Merseyside residents advice and tips to support their general wellbeing this winter. The webpage is a one stop shop for tips and advice on how to look after physical and mental health, with the aim of keeping residents away from hospitals and inpatient units, which are traditionally high in demand during winter.

Taking steps to improve strength and balance as you get older can greatly reduce your risk of falling. Falls are the leading cause of injury amongst older people, they can result in serious health issues such as fractures, head injuries and even loss of independence.
