ESR (Electronic Staff Record) supervisor hierarchy

All supervisors should regularly review their hierarchy in ESR. This is important to allow supervisors/managers the ability to access and manage team's information and training compliance. It’s also used to feed the hierarchy within our new EMPACTIS Occupational Health and Absence Manager systems. Having incorrect information across all these systems can prevent both staff and managers from being able to undertake essential processes that support staff health and wellbeing.

To find out how to check hierarchy and request changes follow:

Leaving the Trust or taking a flexible retirement (Payslips/P60s)

Can all colleagues please be reminded of the importance of downloading or printing all payslips and P60s prior to leaving the Trust. Once an individual leaves the Trust, all access to ESR (Mersey Care) is removed, meaning access to this information is no longer available.

Similarly, if a colleague is taking a flexible retirement, due to being assigned a new assignment number on return, the same rules apply. The old assignment number is closed meaning there’s no further access to that information
