The Team is developing a network of Freedom to Speak Up Champions. We now have them in all divisions and are working with Clinical leads and managers to ensure that they are supported. Their role is to ensure that colleagues are aware of the importance of speaking up and what support is available across the Trust.

Champions will also be looking at the culture of their team and working with their manager to consider if it is a safe place for people to raise a concern.

We know that team cultures can change, therefore it is important that we consider practical ways to ensure all our teams remain open.
