The Procurement team is currently updating its contracts register to ensure that it is up to date and contains details of all commercial contracts currently in effect within the Trust. To ensure that we capture such contracts, please send over details of any known commercial contract applicable to your team to procurement@merseycare.nhs.uk using the subject title ‘Commercial Contracts’.

Commercial contracts are any contracts for the provision of services by an external supplier, including agency, consultancy, clinical supervision agreements, and equipment agreements.

There may be some commercial contracts that have either been entered into directly by operational teams, or contract copies have been provided directly without being copied to Procurement, and due to the recent Trusts acquisitions this will help us to identify where there may be potential duplication.
