Pressures on the system are mounting and colleagues are working incredibly hard to support patients, service users and their own teams. I’m incredibly grateful. If there’s one more thing I can ask, please have your vaccination protection. There’s not been the uptake we’d want and the consequences are apparent with increased infection rates, and the pressures which that leads to in our services.
The flu and COVID vaccination teams can come to you, and can support those who have concerns about needles with care and discretion. So please, contact the vaccination centre to make arrangements or check the weekly update on YourSpace.
We have primary doses of COVID vaccination available. Please contact the vaccination centre directly if you’ve not had yours yet.
Whilst people have concerns, the team is here to help. Protecting each other from infection is part of our duty of care. The vaccines are safe, give lasting protection and they enable us all to have an extra level of security in challenging times.
The clinic is open until the end of next week (10 February) and you can get all the clinic details on YourSpace.
Thank you for your support.
