Nicotine Management (Level 2) E-Learning

From 1 March 2023, 350 Nicotine Management Level 2 eLearning, will be a three yearly training requirement as agreed by the Operational Workforce Group for Band 3 – Band 7 clinical staff working within our Mental Health Care Division. The level 2 training is an additional requirement to the existing “once only” Smoking Cessation Awareness eLearning training therefore non-compliant colleagues and new starters will be required to complete both the awareness and level 2 packages.

From 1 April 2023, the 350 Nicotine Management Level 2 eLearning will also be a requirement for clinical colleagues identified in some Community Care teams.

Team leaders/managers can refer to their usual team level training reports to identify who within their teams are required to complete this module.  Nicotine Management (Level 2) compliance will be shown under the New Training reporting category until March 2024 to allow a 12-month lead in time before it becomes a formal KPI.
