Due to a technical issue, Liverpool Clinical Laboratories are currently experiencing delays in turnaround times for samples including wound swabs, eye swabs and genital swabs. Anything received after the Thursday, 5 September may take an additional 72 hours for a result to be ready.
They are working with their equipment provider to have the issue resolved as soon as possible. Please do not send repeat samples in the interim.
