We have been made aware that some staff have recently been issued with warning tickets that the emergency COVID-19 parking permits expire on 20 June 2021 (Sunday).
The Government’s decision to withdraw the emergency parking passes has taken effect on 20 June 2021. Local councils are responsible for setting their own local policy on parking. Therefore, current or potential parking permit holders are advised to contact their local council find out about any local plans for the future of the parking pass, or to check whether they are eligible for other local parking permits.
Staff are advised not to continue using their emergency COVID-19 parking permits from 21 June 2021, as it may lead to fines. More information provided by the Government is available here.
