The annual survey will run for 15 weeks until 1 December 2023. 1,250 patients aged 16+ have been randomly selected and their details shared with a third party company who will carry out the anonymous survey on our behalf. Service users will be contacted by both letter and SMS text to encourage them to complete the survey. If your service user asks for support to complete the survey, this can be provided by the third party company, to protect anonymity. The contact details are on the SMS text and in the letter.

The findings will be shared:

  1. At team level through team meetings.
  2. Divisionally in the Community Transformation Programme and quality improvement projects will run to make any improvements that are identified as required - with teams involved.
  3. Organisationally at Quality Committee and Council of Governor’s and via the Trust website, action plans shared with the CQC.
  4. Nationally benchmarked against all other national community mental health services, and used by NHS England and Department of Health and Social Care for performance assessment, improvement and regulatory purposes.
