The Clinical Senate took place on Monday 15 November with attendance from staff from across a range of services. The Clinical Senate opened with a presentation from our Chief Executive Prof Joe Rafferty followed by a presentation on our Trust’s Clinical Strategy and key initiatives driving quality improvements in the Trust.
There were a number of presentations from clinicians and services across the organisation to share clinical practice, guidance and leadership
You can find all the presentations from the day on YourSpace.
As part of the day the Centre of Perfect Care facilitated some initial discussions regarding the BHAGs (Big Hairy Audacious Goals) which will be the key priorities for the organisation next year. Many participants reported that the BHAGs from this year are still relevant, but they need to be communicated more widely as we have grown as a Trust. There were a number of exciting suggestions for new BHAGs related to integrated care, access and decision making, physical health, workforce, accessible information, peer support, patient experience and climate change. We will build on these suggestions through further consultations and discussions with the division to enable the development of BHAGs which will accelerate learning and improve quality and safety across the organisation.
