Services have been under intense media and political scrutiny in recent years and months with a reported ‘epidemic’ of mental ill health among children and a ‘crisis’ in mental health services.
As a learning organisation, a programme of change board has been set up to review our practices to make sure we deliver the highest standards of healthcare. Our priority is to continue delivering innovative and forward thinking healthcare to our young people and their carers.
Our aim is to develop a strategy that achieves equity and standardisation across our services for children and young people as part of our commitment to perfect care. We aim to provide services that focus on young people staying healthy, happy and independent.
