In 2022 our work towards our Perfect Care goal of "Zero acceptance of racism, discrimination, and unacceptable behaviours from and toward our workforce and our patients/service users, carers and familie." really began.
We have set solid foundations and started to make measurable progress with over 10,000 of you completing our online learning module, we have seen an increase in the number of appointments from applicants of a multi-ethnic background increase by 1.4%, and we have seen a 6% reduction in the number of multi-ethnic colleagues reporting harassment, discrimination or bullying from a colleague.
This work sits firmly in the trusts strategic plan and our operational plans.
