Men's Health Week runs 10 to 16 June and this year's theme is P for prostrates. 

In June and July, we will be undertaking 'Your Voice Your Change', a programme of engagement events that are designed to help us understand what is working well and what needs to be better. The methodology is tried and tested in Mersey Care; over the years it's been used to inform our strategic plans, our work on Restorative Just Culture, and our work to redesign the organisation to work better for staff and patients.

'Putting carers on the map' is the theme for this year and we are committed to making sure that the voices of unpaid carers are heard throughout our services.

From Monday, 10 June 2024, 350|LOCAL|Role Specific - Patient Group Directions (PGD), will be a three yearly training requirement for all registered nursing staff working in Walk in Centres (WICs) and Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs), as agreed by the Workforce Development Education and Training Group (WDETG) and Operational Management Group. 

The Learning and Development team would like to remind all colleagues not to approach external training providers without liaising with the Learning and Development department first.
