As of mid-October, the Trust will use the FTSU e-learning training programme that has been developed by the National Guardians Office (NGO). The Whole Training Package is divided into three parts – Speak Up, Listen Up and Follow Up.
Currently only the Speak Up and Listen Up modules have been released by the National Guardians Office, these are now in the process of being rolled out within the mandatory training programme and should be available mid-October 2021.
The content for the training includes:
- What speaking up is and why it’s welcome
- How to speak up and confidentiality
- Barriers to speaking up
- The role of the FTSUG and NGO
- E-assessment
The FTSU team want to hear the views of colleagues as they complete these training modules so that they can make any necessary changes or answer any questions people have.
The FTSU team are also available to join teams and discuss what for many is still a new role to them.
