Since the surrender of Kabul in Afghanistan reactions are reported to have been significant amongst many in the armed forces community and we may see this from staff, those in our care, attendances at AED and referrals from GPs. As well as distress and anger, it is heart breaking to hear that many are feeling that the fall of Kabul has rendered their sacrifice, and that of their fallen comrades, meaningless.
You might know staff who have, or have had family, served in Afghanistan. They all deserve our understanding and support at this difficult and distressing time.
