This week one of our staff networks announced its new lead. Lucy Eldridge from the Workforce Governance Team tells us about her new role:
"Hello, I'm pleased to announce I have been appointed the new Chair of the Women’s Network. I am excited to work with a team of wonderful women focusing on bringing awareness of and addressing the gender disparities and inequalities that women have faced since the beginning of time. I would like to give a massive thanks to Lesley for chairing the group so far and being a great example to me in terms of what I can also accomplish as my time in Chair.
All of us women are in the same boat and face the same challenges on both a day-to-day basis and long-term. We have some great ideas for the next chapter of the network and plan to be extremely active in pushing the women’s agenda forward & uniting as a strong group of women. Anyone who would like to join us on this journey, please feel free to get in touch and I will add you to the membership and get you up to speed – whether it be to actively contribute to the ongoing agenda or just for some fellow female supportive conversations.
Our Vice Chair will be appointed soon, so stay tuned!
