Planned network downtime at Hollins Park, Peasley Cross Hospital and Whiston Primary Care Resource Centre
To allow for essential maintenance work to be completed, the network at Hollins Park, Peasley Cross Hospital and Whiston Primary Care Resource Centre will be unavailable for a period of approximately 30 minutes between 7.30am and 8am on Thursday 17 February 2022.
Why is this happening?
This planned downtime is required to enable the installation of essential network equipment, which is needed to improve network performance during generator testing.
How will this affect me?
From 7.30am to 8am on Thursday 17 February 2022, Mersey Care colleagues based at Hollins Park, Peasley Cross Hospital and Whiston Primary Care Resource Centre will not be able to access the network. This means the following services will be temporarily unavailable:
- Internet - wired connection
- Wi-Fi (Hollins Park Only)
- Clinical and business systems access
- Network drives
- Telephones (Hollins Park Only)
- Printers
What do I need to do?
Whilst every effort will be made to restore network services as quickly as possible, please review your business continuity arrangements, so that you are familiar with the plans in place within your service.
