Five steps to wellbeing
There are five steps to help improve your wellbeing that we have outlined below
- Connect with others – feeling valued and connected to others is a basic human need, talking to someone really does help.
- Reach out to a friend to check in, you could even join them doing a hobby they enjoy.
- Being active is great for your physical and mental health. Take some time out for your day to be active, this could include going for a walk, doing some exercise or going to a class at your local gym. You could complete a Wellbeing Action Plan to get you on your way.
- Learn something new. It can be daunting learning something new, but the confidence and sense of self pride you get afterwards is a great reward, plus you’ll meet new people! Check our our apprenticeship opportunities.
