Covid - no changes.jpg

We want to continue to realise the benefits of hybrid working. The Trust has decided to continue to combine home working with working on site where appropriate and subject to service commitments. Over the next number of weeks and in light of the government lifting restrictions, further discussions will take place with staff who work in the three corporate headquarters buildings about future working arrangements. Adopting this approach will allow us to consider what measures we need to put in place as the situation develops. There will be no significant changes to current working arrangements until at least September 2021.

During this period:

  • Staff who are at home working should continue to do so until they are advised accordingly
  • Please continue to observe safe distancing, wear a mask, wash hands frequently and where possible open windows
  • Staff must continue to wear a surgical face mask in all areas, at all times unless working alone in a non-clinical office
  • Staff working in smaller office spaces must continue to restrict staff numbers present and not exceed the agreed maximum room capacity
  • These guidelines are subject to further advice pending from NHS England.

Outlined below is some additional specific guidance for staff  normally based at Hollins Park, Liverpool Innovation Park (LIP) and V7.

Hollins Park

Staff should continue to work from home until they receive further advice and guidance. Maximum occupancy is displayed in all communal areas. If you or your team want to increase access to the building, please discuss with your line manager in advance.

Liverpool Innovation Park (LIP)

Staff should continue to work from home and continue to only access LIP when necessary. There should not be an increase in the footfall, or the periods of time staff spend within the building. Priority continues to be given to clinical staff needing desk space.

If a team wants to increase its presence at LIP, please contact: Nicola.Ashes@Merseycare.nhs.uk Head of Administration in the first instance who will coordinate requests and seek approvals on behalf of Lee Taylor, Chief Operating Officer.

V7 Building

Staff should continue to work from home and should only attend V7 with permission from a senior manager (head of department or above). Wherever possible, avoid face to face meetings – use MS Teams or other platforms. If you do enter V7, make sure that you give your name and contact details to reception staff so that they know how many people are in the building.

If a team wants to increase its presence at V7, please contact Emma.Welsby@merseycare.nhs.uk in the first instance who will coordinate requests and seek approvals.
