Due to a clash in payroll processing dates with weekly and monthly pay we must sometimes bring the deadline forward for finalisation and locking down of all bank shifts.
Dates may also be changed due to bank holidays.
Save the date
See below a list of weekly payroll dates which clash with monthly payroll. This means, cut off will be earlier than usual for these dates. The cut off time for each date is 8.30am.
Monday, 16 December to Sunday, 29 December
Due to the Christmas and New Year bank holidays, deadlines for weekly bank payroll have been amended for hours worked from Monday, 16 to Sunday, 29 December 2024. To ensure a smooth payroll period, It is vital that managers complete finalisation of bank rosters no later than the dates and times specified below:
- For hours worked Monday, 16 to Sunday, 22 December, rosters should be finalised no later than 8.30am on Monday, 23 December for payment on Friday, 27 January.
- For hours worked Monday 23 December to Sunday, 29 December, rosters should be finalised no later than 8.30am on Monday, 30 December for payment on Friday, 3 January.
Due to the very short turnaround time of payroll during the above periods, we must advise that shifts that are not finalised by the specified deadlines will be paid the following Friday.
New Starters including new bank assignments, roster fails, late submissions and retro pay arrears will not be processed for payment during this pay period.
These transactions will be processed for payment on Friday, 6 January 2025.
We kindly ask you take note of the amended deadlines as bank shifts finalised late has significant consequences on colleague’s pay. This is especially important as colleagues have committed to work additional shifts with the expectation of being paid in a timely way due to reliance on payments, Unfortunately, our payroll provider is unable to process advances for weekly pay.
