Due to a clash in payroll processing dates with weekly and monthly pay we must sometimes bring the deadline forward for finalisation and locking down of all bank shifts.

Dates may also be changed due to bank holidays.

Save the date

See below a list of weekly payroll dates which clash with monthly payroll. This means, cut off will be earlier than usual for these dates. The cut off time for each date is 8.30am.

Monday 25 March 2024

Due to the Good Friday and Easter Monday bank holidays, deadlines for weekly payroll have been amended as follows:

For hours worked 18 to 24 March, please finalise no later than 8.30am on Monday 25 March. This is to ensure payment on Thursday 28 March.

Tuesday 2 April 2024

For hours worked 25 to 31 March, please finalise no later than 8.30am on Tuesday 2 April. This is to ensure payment on Friday 5 April.

Any shifts that are not finalised by this deadline will be paid the following Friday.

Additional dates

  • Monday 6 May 2024
  • Monday 27 May 2024
  • Monday 26 August 2024
  • Monday 18 November 2024.

Any bank shifts not finalised and locked by 8.30am will miss the weekly payroll and will be processed for pay the following Friday. Unfortunately, there is no flexibility in this deadline and no options to submit late to payroll.

Further communications will be sent out nearer the time of each date as a reminder.

We kindly ask you take note of the amended deadlines as bank shifts finalised late has significant consequences on colleague’s pay. This is especially important as colleagues have committed to work additional shifts with the expectation of being paid in a timely way due to reliance on payments, Unfortunately, our payroll provider is unable to process advances for weekly pay.

New starters

New starters including new bank assignments, roster fails, late submissions and retro pay arrears will not be processed for payment during this pay period.

These transactions will be processed the following week for payment.
