World Mental Health Day takes place this Sunday, 10 October and this year's theme will focus on ‘mental health in an unequal world,’ which was chosen as inequalities impact negatively on people’s mental health.

As a trust we understand the last 18 months have been a challenging time for most of us, so we’ve produced two short animations to help support you.

The first animation talks about what you can expect if you,  or someone you know, might be experiencing a mental health crisis.

The second animation is to help support your mental wellbeing by talking about the

5 Steps to Wellbeing.

The 5 Steps to Wellbeing are a set of five activities that have been proven to help boost our mental wellbeing if we practice them regularly, they are:
  • Keep learning
  • Take notice
  • Connect
  • Give
  • Be active
