There are increasing cases of Omicron and other respiratory viruses in our local communities. Emerging evidence suggests that Omicron is much more transmissible than previous variants of coronavirus, and outbreaks have now been linked to parties. Therefore, the Trust is recommending that all staff gatherings, including those outside of work, are cancelled with immediate effect.
This is a difficult decision but for the safety of everyone, all celebrations should be postponed until 2022.
