Last November we told staff about a new system called Empactis which is being introduced across the Trust. As services resume in full following recent challenges, it’s important all staff are aware of the planned timetable. A new telephone based Absence Manager System will start to be introduced throughout April and May in Local Division. Following this, we plan for the system will be rolled out to Community Division throughout July and August, Secure/LD Division during September and October, and Mid Mersey from November to December.
In addition all divisions will see a new Health Manager System online in April. This will gradually replace existing health and wellbeing processes, including referrals to occupational health if necessary, during May and June. We’re developing a full set of training – videos, documents and guides – which will be on our dedicated webpages. These new systems will really streamline and support staff reporting unplanned absences and will enable managers to refer staff quickly to the right places such as occupational health for their physical, social and mental health needs.
