The Women’s network is proud to have been involved in the development of the trust’s new menopause policy. The Trust actively supports staff affected by the menopause and the policy provides a foundation to have supportive conversations about the impact of menopause on our lives.
Amanda Oates, Executive Director of Workforce has made a short video discussing her personal reasons for endorsing a supportive and open environment for those who may be affected by menopause.
The Health and Wellbeing Team are holding Let’s talk menopause sessions and are keen to hear about your experiences.
Tuesday 8 March is International Women’s Day – the theme this year is #breakthebias
Imagine a gender equal world
- A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
- A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
- A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
- Together we can forge women's equality.
- Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
If you are interested in finding out more about some of the other projects the Women’s Network are involved with why not come along to our next network meeting on the 10 March.
Our Chair and Vice Chair positions are up for election and voting for both posts will take place at the meeting.
We are hosting this meeting on MS Teams but are hoping to return to face-to-face meetings soon.
