There will be a number of road closures for the Elton John concert tomorrow night (Saturday 18 June) at Anfield. Both carriageways of Walton Breck Road will be closed from 12 noon, a temporary road closure will be put in place to help crowds enter and leave the stadium safely.
The road will remain closed until midnight or earlier if it’s deemed ‘safe.’ Pedestrian access will be maintained during this time, direction signage will be in place to direct pedestrians in the area.
Anfield Road will remain a no through road due to LFC’s Anfield Road Stadium expansion. Pedestrian access will be available via Dhalia walk.
Skerries Road will close to cars from 12 noon, but residents will be granted access. There will also be steel shield fencing installed around the food hub at the end of the road (located on club property) as part of the stadium access for concerts.
