As our organisation expands, it’s becoming more likely for more than one division to provide services in the same geographical area. Therefore, when calling our switchboard, it is imperative that when asking to be connected to an on call manager (at any level), to be clear about the division of the on call manager you need to be connected with. This will help to minimise delays and potential patient safety risks.
During normal working hours, incidents and emergencies should be escalated to your line manager.
If you receive a media enquiry, please contact our Communications team by calling: 0151 471 2336, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Outside of these times, please call the switchboard via ‘0’ and ask to be put through to communications on call. If you’re unsure or suspect anyone’s motives, ask for more information and seek advice from the Communications team and your line manager.
