Following the launch of Absence Manager last September, the next phase - Case Manager – launches on Tuesday, 2 July.
Case Manager works side by side with the Absence Manager system to support managers in the management of sickness absence cases in their team.
When colleagues have the number of absences that trigger a stage, in line with the Supporting Health and Wellbeing (Attendance) Policy, the case manager system will notify a manager. The system then presents the necessary letters required to set up meetings, support colleagues and manage their absence.
An eLearning package has been developed for Case Manager for all managers to complete if they have not already done so. The training should take about 30 minutes.
