The Communications Team are professional experts that have many and varied roles within the organisation, including: keeping you informed through newsletters like this and the COVID-19 briefing, dealing with media enquiries and protecting the Trust’s reputation.

Another of their responsibilities is to help Mersey Care’s many services communicate both within the organisation and externally at conferences, events, media interviews etc.

Team members keep abreast of the latest developments in communications, regularly analyse output methods and routinely check in with stakeholders to ensure they’re receiving information in their preferred way. They use expertise, knowledge and experience to:

  • Ensure presentations, leaflets, posters, documents etc. are branded correctly and written clearly, using graphics where appropriate, suitable for the intended audience
  • Produce animations and films suitable for internal campaigns, the website and social media
  • Decide on the best communications channels to reach your audience
  • Produce the quarterly MC Magazine full of topical content
  • Manage the Trust’s social media channels
  • Curate, monitor and maintain the website and intranet.

All promotional and communications materials, films, animations etc. should be discussed and agreed, and if produced externally, signed off by the team.
