Perfect Care is underpinned by evidence. The Evidence and Library Services is a dedicated team of information professionals whose aim is to put evidence at the heart of clinical and corporate decision making within our organisation.

Our services include:

• Access to around 12,000 online journals
Evidence reviews and summaries
Current awareness bulletins
• Clinical decision making tools
• Group, team or individual inductions
Literature search training
Book loans and book ordering
Article requesting service

Christmas & New Year Openings

Access to the physical library spaces during the Christmas/New Year period will be as follows:

Indigo Library: The Indigo building will be closed from 22nd December until 3rd January.

Rathbone Library: The building will be closed during the bank holiday period, but those who have registered for 24 hour access will be able to access via their Staff ID badge. To request out of hours access please contact: EstatesFacilitiesHelpdesk@merseycare.nhs.uk

Hollins Park Library: The Library will close at 4pm on 23rd December and reopen on 3rd January.

The Evidence Service will be closed over Christmas between 23rd December – 3rd January however you can still access our huge range of articles and resources online using your Open Athens account.
