The annual commemoration of remembrance at our Whalley learning disability site, which was used as a soldier’s hospital during two World Wards, took place last weekend alongside the Royal British Legion.

Linda Bennett and Lara Mills-Jones from the secure care division visited Hugh Baird University Centre on 2 November to talk to young people about working in secure care.

As we enter the winter months, we are already seeing a rise in respiratory type infections like Influenza and COVID-19. Couple this with an increase in large gatherings during the festive period and with less people taking up the offer of vaccination, and there is potential for high infection rates this winter.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Telehealth Market Place Event today. We had a fantastic turnout, which included twelve suppliers and over 100 members of staff from right across the Trust.
