The next programme is being run virtually, via Microsoft Teams for 6 weeks and is specifically for Mersey Care staff. We will be running two groups per week starting week commencing (WC:) 17 April.

Session options:

Tuesdays from 10am

Programme content includes:

  • Understanding Calories
  • Food labelling
  • Portion Sizes
  • Meal Planning and mindful eating
  • Physical Activity guidance

The groups will be run by our team of Health and Wellbeing Facilitators whom have previous experience of running group based programmes of this type and have the knowledge to provide the appropriate advice to support weight loss in accordance with the current UK recommendations for a healthy balanced diet.

Participants will be encouraged to weigh/measure themselves, taking ownership of their health. They will also have the opportunity to be measured by a Health and Wellbeing Facilitator if desired and at our base.

We are also offering the opportunity to run a team-specific programme on request, in both virtual and on-site formats. These programmes will be subject to capacity.
