Occupational Therapy Week 2023 – Hollins Park Events

Occupational Therapy Week 2023 runs from Monday 6 to Sunday 12 November. This time it’s all about ‘occupation matters’, a national theme which will support our OTs to explain more about occupation is and its impact.
There will be events across the Trust and colleagues at Hollins Park have announced these sessions for OTs to get involved with:

Mandy Middleton from the organisational effectiveness team will facilitate a session on our Perfect Care goal of anti-racism.  Mandy will also help the staff explore belonging and the importance of this within the profession and also within Mersey Care. This will be an opportunity for qualified and non-qualified occupational therapy staff to find out more about the goal and also consider how this should be taken into account within their day-to-day practice on the wards/community settings.  Attendance will contribute towards CPD and you will receive a certificate of attendance to include in your CPD folders  The event is open to all occupational therapy staff including bank and activity workers.
