  • As traditional work experience placements have been impacted by the recent pandemic, the Trust has developed a new skills academy work experience skills lab model with Trish Mattison and Carol Jones from Children and Young People team.

  • I want to start this week’s blog with a big thank you to all our staff. For some of you the last fortnight has seen some very significant organisational changes. For others, you will be handling the current surge in activity while observing infection and prevention controls in this very warm weather spell, which puts everyone under considerable pressure.

  • Our new low secure service Aspen Wood, received its first service users this week.The 40 bed learning disability site on Maghull Health Park was completed on time and budget late last year. Following a period of staff training it is now fully operational.
