Living Library launch event

Our Living Libraries project group would like to invite you to attend one of our launch events later this month!

We are planning a future ‘Living Library’ where human ‘Books’ tell their stories in conversations with ‘Readers’. Come along to one of our launch events at either Walton or Bootle to hear about how a library of lived experience could be run at The Life Rooms.

What can I expect from the event?

1) Learn about what a Living Library is

2) Share ideas for our future Living Library event

3) Express interest in one of the Library's roles – Book, Reader and Librarian – or find out how those you work with can get involved

The launch events will be held at the following dates and locations:

Living Library launch event at The Life Rooms Bootle on Thursday 22 June from 11am to 2pm 

Living Library launch event at The Life Rooms Walton on Monday 26 June from 11am to 2pm

As there is a capacity limit for each event, please note that attendance is allocated on a first come, first served basis through Eventbrite registration. Feel free to forward this invite to anyone who you feel may be interested.
