Safeguarding links away day - domestic abuse

This half day learning event is suitable for all safeguarding children and adult links.

Event aims:

• Raise awareness of the issue of domestic abuse
• Think Family approach in responding to domestic abuse concerns
• Discuss role of safeguarding children and adults links in services.

Attendance will enable staff to:

• Recognise the signs of Domestic Abuse/Coercive Control
• Think Family approach to responding to domestic abuse
• Talk to experts in this subject
• Discuss responsibility of links role in relation to responding to domestic abuse concerns.

The day will have a market place with information available from services supporting families.
