To support your psychological wellbeing, we have developed two new group programmes to replace the Resilience- Topping Up the Tank sessions. Both options are delivered virtually. The aims of each programme, dates and booking information, are outlined below.
Riding the waves
In this session you will think about your own stress response and identify areas for development. Together, we will explore what causes us stress and provide self-help tools and tips to help us rebuild after a stressful period in our lives. These sessions provide a non-judgmental and holistic look at all aspects of stress, including our natural response, individual levels of resistance (resilience), burn out and building on personal resistance.
Aims:
- To think about our own stress and identify triggers
- To know how long-term stress can affect us
- To feel confident in being able to manage our stress with better coping mechanisms
- To change the way we think about stress
- To explore potential barriers and come up with solutions
The session duration is approximately 2 hours and is hosted on Teams.

Drains and Radiators
These shorter sessions explore the stressors in our life (Drains) and the things that bring us happiness and joy (Radiators). We will focus on how to limit the amount of time our drains can affect us, and how to cope with them productively, whilst identifying and encouraging you to invite more positivity into your everyday life.
Aims:
- To identify things that cause us stress, and burn us out
- To identify things in our life that we enjoy and bring us happiness
- To discourage the invitation of negativity
- To encourage the invitation of positivity
The session duration is approximately 60 minutes and is hosted on Teams.
